On 16th of May, the UN commemorates “International Day of Living Together in Peace”. The day aspires to remind us that living together in peace is to simply accept the differences between us and strive to be an inclusive society where differences based on race, sex, language, colour and disability and more are accepted without prejudice.

4 May: Milestone of Women’s Rights in The European Union

April, 28th is the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, and the #LAB4GE project and the partners involved in it, want to acknowledge how important it is to create a safe and healthy work environments for all, and how we must ensure that workplaces are safe and healthy for all workers, regardless of their gender.
World Art Day
On World Art Day – 15th of April, – the associates in the #LAB4GE project, want to recognize the role art plays in our lives and celebrate the power of art to inspire, transform and create positive change in our world.
Gender Wage Gap
The #LAB4GE project wants to raise awareness on the gender wage gap, which is a term that refers to the disparity in pay between men and women in the same job or occupation.
Break the Glass Ceiling
On this day – March, 15th – the partners involved in the LAB4GE project, want to talk about the concept of the “glass ceiling”, which is a term that refers to an invisible but real barrier that exists in many workplaces, and prevents women and other marginalized groups from advancing to the highest levels of leadership and management.
International Day to Combat Islamophobia
March 15th is the International Day to Combat #Islamophobia, a day that the associates of the project #LAB4GE want to recognize. It is important to address the harmful impact of anti-Muslim prejudice and discrimination. At the same time, we must also remember that Islamophobia is not just about religion – it is also closely linked to gender inequality.
International Women´s Day – 8th March
On Women’s Day, the partners involved in the #LAB4GE project, want to honor the incredible achievements of women around the world, and acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to achieve true gender equality.
International Day of Education – 24 January
January 24 was declared the International Day of Education. #IDE2023, under the theme “to invest in people, prioritize education”, prioritizes to accelerate progress towards all the Sustainable Development Goals against the backdrop of a global recession, growing inequalities and the climate crisis. #LAB4GE
International Human Solidarity Day
Today, in the context of globalization and the challenge of growing inequalities, the #LAB4GE partners are convinced that strengthening the culture of solidarity and together taking action on gender issues is essential to effectively contribute to gender equality.
