Violence against women is a sad and shameful reality happening in all societies and across the globe. Although it is rooted in gender inequalities, it also exists because we, as a society and individuals, far too often let it continue unnoticed.
The LAB4GE partners would like to emphasize that violence against women is a human rights violation, and it negatively affects women’s general well-being and prevents women from fully participating in society. It impacts their families, their community, and the country at large. So we should all work together for a world where gender-based violence is unacceptable, where perpetrators are held accountable and victims receive the support they deserve.
The Learn Abroad to do Better at home for Gender Equality project is funded by Erasmus+ and more information about the project are available on Associazione Sud website: click here
